1. See bottom of page for dogs wanting retirement homes.

2. Pharaohs in need of homes at this time.

(Note: Pharaohs are very much like cats, in that they adapt to new homes and situations very easily and quickly as a rule. The tend to make the most out of where ever they might be. They generally don't pine away for previous owners, but look forward to each day as a new beginning, a new adventure in their lives. So adopting an older Pharaoh may be the ideal thing for many folks. You are giving a home to a dog that deserves it and they come generally house broken and with some basic house manners and for the most part in good health.)

If you think you might like to be put on a waiting list for a Pharaoh Hound Rescue (very rare cases, thank heavens) please contact Pam Haig, the co-ordinator of PHCA rescue.

This is "Stryper". She was born June 14, 1996, is an AKC Champion with great lure coursing possibilities (if she can be trained to come back ). She is pretty energetic and a great hunter, on the hunt from morning til night. She is pretty strong willed and needs a very ALPHA leader/owner and she will love you for ever. She is spayed and in very good health. She really would prefer a home with NO other dogs! Her temperament is best suited for this type of environment.
