references)Since there are so few of the breed, and hopefully only the very best is being bred to the very best, puppies are usually in demand. Even so, a good breeder will not produce a litter unless they have deposits on secured homes for quite a few of the puppies in advance. So if it is your intention to become the proud owner of one of these wonderful dogs, you may have to have a deposit made on a pup for up to a year before it finally arrives. But it is well worth it. In addition to a minimum deposit of $100.00, usually, we require an "Adoption Application" to be filled out in its entirety, as this helps us to determine just the right pup for you based on your expectations of a pup. We also require 2 letters of recommendation to be supplied by you, one from your veterinarian and the other from your neighbor, hopefully, as to your history and care of your previous animals.
If you are looking for a Pet/Companion, be prepared to accept one on AKC Limited Registration only, along with a contract stating you understand the animal is not to be bred and that it should be spayed or neutered, as it is in the best interests of the health of the animal. The costs for a companion animal from us starts at $700.00. You are required to pay for shipping the pup to you and we provide the necessary paper work. If you are looking for a show dog, the prices range from $750.00 on a co-ownership to $2,000.00 or better for outright ownership, depending on the quality. You will be required to sign a contract with the breeder for this also. Samples of the contracts may be reviewed upon request.
As the breeder of your wonderful Pharaoh Hound, we will furnish you with contracts for your approval
and signature. Photos of your new puppy will arrive shortly after its birth. AKC papers and a pedigree. A
complete health, shot and worming record for the pup. A certificate of Guarantee for the health of the
pup and our original "Puppy Packet" (now viewable from this web site. You will be given the URL when
your pup is born.), which contains all the information you would ever want to know about your Pharaoh.
Such as how to housebreak, leash training and other training instructions and the list is endless. We have
attempted to cover every subject you might have questions about. This is your "Warranty and
Instructions." With show dogs, we furnish a 3 generation picture pedigree. This is also available to pet
owners on request. If the animal is being shipped by air, we furnish the veterinarian health certificate.
Note: Our contracts include a clause whereby any Pharaoh bred by us may be returned to us at any time if the unfortunate
need arises. And we are available to you at any time for consultation. Next Litter Information
