SCORE is the Service Corps of Retired Executives

SCORE is a nonprofit association providing business counseling to small business people.

WOMEN AND SCORE

Between 1982 and 1987 the number of women-owned businesses increased 58% to more than 4.1 million. And women continue to open businesses at twice the rate of men. By the year 2000, the U.S. Small Business Administration estimates that nearly 40% of all U.S. business will be owned by women. So it is no supprise that more women are seeking the valuable assistance provided by SCORE.

SCORE is dedicated to helping all business owners or potential business owners - women and men - realize their entrepreneurial dream. The face of small business is changing dramatically and SCORE needs you to meet the challange. As an active or retired business woman, you can offer a unique perspective to the TEAM of SCORE counselors by serving as a role model for women business owners. Through individual counseling sessions or group classes you CAN make a difference.

SCORE is ideas, skill, and experience.

SCORE is l3,000 retired and active executives in 400 chapters around the country.

SCORE is counseling on small business problems.

SCORE has background of more than 25 years of successful counseling.

SCORE counceling services are free.
