Sempra Energy Resources recently acquired the Twin Oaks Power Plant from Texas-New Mexico Power Company.  Located between Calvert and Bremond in the Tidwell Prairie community, this facility is the cleanest coal plant in Texas.  Fueled by lignite coal provided by the Walnut Creek Mining Company, the plant's generating capacity is 305-megawatts or enough power for more than 175,000 customers.
