Location: Lies on the Big Cypress River off Farm Road 127 in Titus and Camp counties, south of Mt. Pleasant.
Description: This is classic east Texas fishing water, clear but stained with ample vegetation and standing timber surrounded by pines and native hardwoods.

Fishing Tips: For black bass, work the flooded grass beds with spinnerbaits or plastic worms and jigs. Chartreuse and purple are the most popular lure colors for worms and grubs.

Facilities: A relatively new state park (903/572-5531) with lighted fishing pier has proved popular with visitors. In addition there are two public and several private boat ramps.
