Location: Lies 15 miles northeast of La Grange, off State Highway 159 in Fayette County.
Description: This power plant lake is surrounded by coastal prairie blending with pine and
native hardwood. Water generally remains fairly clear and supports mats of hydrilla. Maximum
depth is 70 feet. Some standing timber remains.

Fishing Regulations: Largemouth bass -- three per day, none between 14 and 21 inches.

Comments: In spite of considerable fishing pressure from anglers from the Houston and College
Station areas, catch and release fishing has helped preserve the black bass population.
