Stocking History:
Comments: This lake was one of the only lakes ever to open with a slot limit on
largemouth bass. After being stocked with Florida bass the lake remained
closed to fishing for several years and the opening crush of boating traffic is
still legendary. The protective slot has helped maintain an excellent bass fishery
in spite of this pressure.
Lake Records:
| Species | Pounds | Inches | Angler |
| Largemouth bass | 16.17 | 26.00 | Troy Johnson |
| Redear sunfish | 1.33 | 11.50 | Roger Dunagen |
Fishing Tips: Flooded timber is a prime place to find bass after the spawn. Plastic
worms and bucktail jigs, especially dark colors do the job.
Fishing Quality:

Facilities: The power company provides one paved boat ramp. Camping is
banned, but picnickers will find grills available.
