Location: Lies on the western outskirts of San Angelo, off U. S. Highway 67 in Tom Green County.
Description: This reservoir has two main pools connected by a man-made canal. The shoreline is dotted with salt cedar and mesquite brush. Fish habitat comes from pond weed and native brush in the flats. The water is quite clear for this region and fairly fertile. Average depth is 12 feet with a maximum of 60 feet.

Stocking History:
Comments: This reservoir spills into Lake Nasworthy. Water level here declines steadily in dry years, hampering fish reproduction.

Fishing Tips: In the spring months, spawning bass in the brushy, shallow flats bite spinnerbaits and rattling crankbaits. White and chartreuse are popular lure colors.

Facilities: Recreation access is granted through Twin Buttes Marina on the north side for a small fee. RV sites have electricity and picnic tables are covered. There is no public boat ramp on the south pool.
