WAYNE FLEMING

Wayne Allan Fleming was born in Canton, Ohio, to Mr James S Fleming and the former Barbara L Clark. His family later moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1960. He attended Lake Highland High School from and graduated in 1972. He married the former Beatriz Ofelia Reyes and remained in Dallas for another year. He then moved from Dallas to the panhandle of Texas in order to work in the Oil and Gas Exploration industry. After a short stint in "the patch", Wayne became an employee of the Waka Independent School District where he remained until it merged with the Perryton Independent School District nine years later. He remained with the Perryton Independent School District for five years. He has also worked for the Key Heights Baptist Church.

Wayne has three children who are a special part of his life. His oldest is Elizabeth who is 20 years old and is married to Ronnie Eisenman of Perryton, Texas. Ruth is a 14 year old 8^th grader at Perryton Junior High and Wayne Jr is a 18 year old with Down's Syndrome. Wayne Jr, currently resides in a group home in El Paso, Texas.

Wayne is active at the Southside Baptist Church, is a Promise Keeper and has been involved in Special Olympics. His hobbies include fishing which he attempts to do as much as possible.

Wayne states that working at the City of Perryton has been his most enjoyable experience because of the friendly people and atmosphere.
