Our Mission

Traditions Council is dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditions of Texas A&M University through awareness and education.

Organization Profile

Traditions Council has fulfilled its mission statement the past twenty-five years primarily through on-campus and statewide speaking engagements.  In addition, it sponsors events such as Howdy Week and Traditions Week throughout the year to promote on-campus awareness.

To accomplish this task, the council is divided into four sub-committees:  Public Relations, Promotions, Awareness and Programs.  Members participate in the committees through planning and research.
